* Huineng (638-713 A.D.) was a Chinese master of Chan Buddhism. He is considered to be the sixth and last Chan Buddhism patriarch and, thus, one of the most important persons of the Zen tradition | Huineng (638-713 n.Chr.) war ein chinesischer Meister des Chan-Buddhismus. Er gilt als sechster und letzter Dharma-Vorfahre des Chan-Buddhismus und somit eine der wichtigsten Figuren in der gesamten Zen-Tradition.
